Had an appointment for 9:30am today and arrived to a completely empty office at 9:36 and was told because I was late I would have to reschedule. I was making this doctor’s office my whole families primary care “Jon Pomeroy” office but obviously not now. Doctors will make you wait hours but 6 minutes in an empty office and you’re out. Laughable, buyer beware don't be late for your appointments or else. Do you remember when doctors were professionals in a community that cared for the people in it, even made house calls. Lol Not Here. Make sure you demand the same professionalism, care and understanding from your doctors as you would your favorite restaurant. Even your local eatery gives you a 15 grace period on a reservation. Get better care, you deserve it.
Do not see dr. Perez. He is aggressive and rude. He invalidates anything you have to say. He is a "know it all", when in fact honestly I think he needs to go back to med school. He does not listen to what I have to say and talks over me. Laughs at me when I express issues. I even cried in his office where he lacked to show any amount of empathy or sympathy. I suffer from ptsd and severe anxiety and he completely disregarded any of my symptoms. He gave me meds in which I did not have a good reaction from and he laughed at me and said it was all in my head (well yea that is where my brain is located duh) but when in fact people do have adverse reactions to meds. He is very unprofessional. He told me therapy won't help me only meds will when also in fact statistics prove therapy helps more than anything. This is why there is a bad stigma on mental illness because of people like this man. Heartless. And to top it off, as I was leaving the patient room, I heard him in other room talking to a colleague about me. Saying I'm lying about the bad reactions to the meds and he actually mocked the way I talked and mocked me crying. Literally mocked me crying. I'm a human being and he acted like I was less than that. I recorded the whole conversation which is legal to do in New Jersey and will show to numerous sources. And the nurse I see before him has no personality and very unfriendly. The people working at the desk however are all very kind and friendly people.

Do not see Dr. Perez. I was previously going to Dr. Jon Pomeroy who was kind and extensive. Unfortunately he no longer works at the practice. I was calling to inform Dr. Perez that the meditation he prescribed me for nausea ( severe morning sickness) has had horrible side affects and asked if there is anything else I can do. He had no idea of previous records of my past mental and physically issues and when I tried to explain the difficulty working under these conditions, asked if I had previous anxiety issues ( apparently didn't know about ) and then chuckled at the fact that he said I guess it's hard to work being pregnant when I was only referring to the nausea. He's completely unprofessional. Don't go to a doctor who can't read a simple chart of your past records within 6 months.
